Bridals
Our bridal sessions are fun and relaxed at the same time! We can provide a makeup artist for a fee for your session. Some examples of the makeup artist that we most recently used for this session are below in the gallery. If you choose, we can arrange for a couple looks and styles for you to have for your session. Also, with the bridal session, you will need to bring all accessories you plan on using on your wedding day. That means if you have gloves, make sure you bring those along with you so that your look is complete. In general, your bridal session will last about two hours. Early morning (sunrise) is generally best as it is cooler and the light is better, but evening is just as good. Midday most of the time does not work well as the light starts to become too harsh for your images, however, we can be flexible and work around your schedule. We can come up for a location for you, or if you have an idea as to where you would like your bridals, just let us know! We look forward to working with you!
Trash the Dress!
You may have heard about the latest rage. The trash-the-dress is a fun way to say you are different. Many brides will go and have a trash-the-dress session with a dress other than the one the were married in after their wedding. Why trash the real deal when you can use another dress? You can always find something pretty at a thrift shop for a lot less! And your real wedding gown is now a family heirloom! This session (below) was booked with a model, and is an example of what a typical trash-the-dress session would be like. Other ideas? Working on your car, riding horses, swimming in a pond.... So many fun things you can do in a nice dress! Also, I would love to give credit to the dresses in this session, I found them at a vintage store in the Plaza. The store's name is Hong Kong Vintage. Check it out for great inspiration, or to find some awesome clothes that maybe you could use for your session!
